'Charmed' ooak unicorn

So I made this one more deer like. I changed the legs and head to a more deer shape as well as the angle of the neck and shoulders. the shape of the back and hind end is totally made up.
I was thinking what if unicorns were real? How would that have happened? The medieval description of a horse body and a stag head is totally out. horses and deer are not even close to being related. Horses are more closely related to bats than they are to deer! How wierd is that. A unicorn is clearly and ungulate, so I had to pick horse (odd toes) or deer (even toes) both have a case for a horn. horse have rhinos on their branch and well deer, cows, goats...all very closely related and all have horns or antlers, and sometimes deer do have a mutation that gives them a single antler in the cernter of the head, but ultimatly I decided on deer because of the toes. if a unicorn was real and realted to a horse if could not have cloven hooves. it would have a single toe hoof like a horse, or a 3 toed hoof like a tapir or rhino. So I went with deer. I was going to skip the mane, since it would be really unlikely. and even if it did have a mane it would be very short. A horses long mane is a manmade thing, it is wholely a product of domestication. But I couldnt bring myself to skip the mane so he has a mane. but anyway if I ever have time I will do more research.
maybe Ill do a unicorn of perrisiodactyl descent latter. im pretty sure I just spelled that wrong

also now I really want to look at an eohippus skull. seriously what if it had a horn!
