lots of stuff
Journal Entry: Thu Dec 27, 2007, 9:47 PM
christmas is over and so is the ornament making! (almost... I have a few late pony ornaments to finish up) but its mostly over...every year I have a huge debate with myself on whether or not to do them and I always end upmaking them anyway. I am not sure why I continue to do it tho since all the those little ornaments drive me nuts!
but any I have lots of fun commisions to finish so that will keep me busy for the rest of the week and probably next week to. One of them is a unicorn like the last unicorn in the animated movie so I am really excited about that since its completely out of my style
its jbout a new year so that means I have show planning and applying to do. I am hoping to double the shows I go to this year so I am going to be busy, but they are so much fun!
I almost have my BJDs ready for casting so I am really excited about that.
I am making a %100 hand sculpted one of a kind fairy BJD riding a polar bear....its taking for ever but its going to be worth it so keep and eye out for them hoplly with in a week or so.
and WOW on my DD. that kept me busy for about 2 hours reading all those comments and Favs!
THANKS!!! I really appreciate the support.
and for all of you who keep asking yes I do commissions but they are not cheap
fairies, mermaids: $185
6 inch unicorns $175
centaurs, hybrid fairies (like Nu-kua or the dragon fairy) $225
Unicorn Ponies $45
3 inch unicorns $55
mice cats or bunnies $40

p.s.: im watching you XD
and u can really live from selling ur stuff? compliment. but i can see how much experience u must have. as i already wrote some time ago: it looks all like made by a machine, very professionel, impressive.
all righty. i also try to sell my newest work i havent finished yet. do u think it would be recommendable to go to art-fantasy-toy-shops and ask if they would buy it?
regards
Well when you sculpt for a living, you start a new project or you don't pay the bills.
hands are one of my weak points so I sculpt them a lot .
supersculpey and prosculpt are different kinds of polymer clays. Super sculpey is cheaper and not as petty as Prosculpt. Prosculpt has a very nice finish. I only use supersculpey when I am going to be painting a sculpt.
some ideas are so great and cute. and u are so ambitious. so many creatures that u have done so far, big respect. when i finish one, i rest a time before beginning a new one. at least if i have not a superb idea of what to do next.
ah. and what i find maybe most impressing: how can u do so good that tiny fingers? seems u use tiny dwarf files for it. id be glad if ud tell me.
and maye whats the difference between super sculpey and that pro sculpt u use. thx.
all right, i keep an eye on ur site.
regards
nice work!
